The opening of Saleem Bagh in 1991 brought the town of Cannock to a standstill, as the Lord Mayor of Cannock rode in on a live Elephant as spectators were left astonished. Ever since, people from all around have been enjoying this modern Indian dining experience in the heart of the county.
Today Saleem Bagh is still owned and run by the original founder Mr. Miah, along with the original chef whose speciality is a magnificent nine course banquet.
